“Love Petra Heating! They are the best, they really value their customers and treat us like they would their friends and family. Andy & Jason were out today to perform semi-annual maintenance on my 2 ductless mini-splits and associated ceiling cassettes, also installed surge protectors to protect these units and cleaned out my clothes dryer vent. The latter was not scheduled but they were nice enough to fit it in anyway. They are both always super nice and easy to have working in my home, and importantly do excellent work. JoLynn coordinated the bid and scheduling, and while I've never met her in person, she's always friendly and efficient over the phone/e-mail. I had the first unit installed 2 1/2 years ago and added the 2nd smaller unit about a year ago to separate out the 1/2 basement from the upper 2 stories so that we can heat downstairs and A/C upstairs or vice versa in these 2 completely different temperature zones. The entire system now works like a dream; I couldn't be happier with our decision to go this route for our HVAC needs. One of my family members has severe allergies & since switching from a conventional furnace with hard to clean duct work, he hasn't had a single wheezing spell. Importantly for anyone considering a Petra install, Tom Caldwell and Matt Ryan really listened to my design "wish list" and let me know what was feasible. I selected Petra because they came up with a system design that checked all the right boxes and in particular the Mitsubishi recessed cassettes that fit into the ceiling instead of sticking out from the walls, they are just so esthetically pleasing. Our house has lots of windows so wall real estate is at a premium and I wanted to reserve it for art work, not mini-split cassettes. Most importantly, Petra really stood by us as their customer when we experienced difficulties with our first unit which at the time served our entire house. It stopped working twice in the first year-plus. Petra technicians spent many many many days at no cost to us running diagnostics, getting it working again the first time it went out, and ultimately the 2nd time around they replaced it with a brand new unit on their dime. I felt that it was a lemon and wanted a new unit, and even though Mitsubishi was only willing to replace the compressor, Petra did the right thing and gave us the new replacement unit. Thank you so much Sarah and Matt! Like I said at the beginning of this review, Petra treats their customers as they would friends and family.”

“With literally no notice nearing the end of the day, I called Becky at Petra to describe my mini crisis. (we needed to service two gas fireplaces in order to close the sale on a home).
Becky’s reaction time was amazing. More so was Ricks ability to get there and complete the work before the normal end of day – same day!!
